CJSC  “BIOCAD “is a Russian biotechnology company, which was established in 2001.

The company has both research and development and full cycle manufacturing facilities: BIOCAD develops its products in the R&D subdivision and manufactures them in its hi-tech production plant located in Petrovo-Dalnee, Krasnogorsk district, Moscow region in accordance with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. The company promotes its medications via its own team of experienced medical representatives in 61 cities within Russia and several major cities within Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Armenia and Azerbaijan. 

The company focuses on development of  original and generic drugs in Gynecology Urology, Oncology and Neurology segments.
Currently BIOCAD has 8 drugs on market.

Genferon® (Interferon alpha-2b + taurine + benzocaine) launched in 2005.  It is used in comprehensive treatment of urogenital infections by more than 44.000 gynecologists, urologists and venerologists.

Leukostim® (Filgrastim) was launched in 2006. It is first granulocyte colony-stimulating factor developed in Russia. It is used by oncologists and oncohaematologists.

Genferon® Light
(Interferon alpha-2b + taurine) was launched in 2009. It’s a complex immunomodulatory drug for treatment of different urogenital and acute respiratory infectious diseases in children and pregnant women. It’s also used in comprehensive therapy of other infectious and viral diseases.

Carboplatin (Carboplatin) was launched in 2009. It is used to treat ovarian carcinoma, lung cancer, cervical cancer, head and neck cancer and transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder.

Taxacad® (Paclitaccell) was launched in 2009. It  is a part of the standard treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer and ovarian carcinoma.

Ronbetal® (Interferon beta-1b) was   launched in 2009. Ronbetal® is the first domestic recombinant human interferon beta-1b medication approved for treatment of multiple sclerosis.

Gemcitar® (Gemcitabine) was launched in 2010.
This product is used for treatment of pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, urinary bladder carcinoma.

Platicad® (Oxaliplatin) was launched in 2010. It is an established “gold standard” for the first-line chemotherapy of colorectal cancer.

Zolerix® (Zoledronic acid) Zolerix® is included in the essential drugs program and used in the treatment of bone metastases and solid tumors, osteolytic processes in multiple myeloma and hypercalcemia caused by malignant tumors.

Avomit® (Granisetron) Avomit® is used for prevention and treatment of chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting.
