(Filgrastim) was launched in 2006. It is first granulocyte colony-stimulating factor developed in Russia. It is used by oncologists and oncohaematologists.

The full cycle of Leucostim® development has been performed at the Center of the Immunological Engineering – the R&D subsidiary of Biocad company.  Biocad manufactures Leucostim® in its ultramodern facility in Moscow region according to GMP regulations.

It is manufactured as a solution for subcutaneous and intravenous solution in vials with 150 µg, 300 µg, and 480 µg of filgrastim.

Leucostim® is recommended in Russia  for clinical use for prophylaxis and treatment of chemotherapy-related neutropenia as well as for hematopoietic stem cell mobilization. Also Leucostim® is approved for treatment of neutropenia in HIV-infected individuals in order to decrease the incidence of bacterial infections.

Leucostim® is an analogue of Neupogen®, an original filgrastim formulation developed by Amgen. 

A comparative clinical trial of Leucostim®, performed in three leading Moscow cancer centers, demonstrated 100% efficacy of Leucostim®; its effect was profound and stable. The clinical efficacy of Leucostim® was identical to that of Neupogen, while the number of adverse events, particularly skeletal pain episodes, was significantly lower after Leucostim® administration in comparison to Neupogen®.

Results of the trial have proved that Leucostim® has an excellent safety profile and a remarkable efficacy.

Availability of this generic drug makes the effective therapy of cancer more affordable, which is of special importance for pediatric oncology and hematology.

(Carboplatin) was launched in 2009. It is used to treat ovarian carcinoma, lung cancer, cervical cancer, head and neck cancer and transitional cell carcinoma of the urinary bladder.





(Paclitaccell) was launched in 2009. It  is a part of the standard treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer and ovarian carcinoma.





(Gemcitabine) was launched in 2009.
This product is used for treatment of pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, urinary bladder carcinoma.





(Oxaliplatin) was launched in 2010. It is an established “gold standard” for the first-line chemotherapy of colorectal cancer.
